Raised just outside of Nashville, TN, Taylor was always referred to as an “old soul” which was substantiated as she began sewing at seven. This avocation initiated an appreciation for fashion and creating early on. Taylor began working in various theatre companies creating costumes in high school. While studying at Samford University, she was offered a summer internship working on a film series on a costume team, launching her career. During the Writer’s Guild Strike in 2023, Taylor moved to London to learn and develop a few trades and pursue fashion courses, installing a love and fascination for shoe making.
After a year living in the heart of London, Taylor took away a few pairs of hand crafted shoes from London Sneaker School and The Parachute Collective, as well as certifications through courses at Central Saint Martins in subject matter including styling, costume design, 1800’s fashion, bespoke tailoring, as well as others.
Currently back in the U.S., you can find her working on the next pair of shoes in her studio, sipping coffee with a new collaboration, working on an upcoming film’s set, or planning her next stay in London.
